Uses of Internet Banking

As we were looking up statistics for online banking I found a few alarming things. One of these things that actually surprised me was the limited availability of specific statistics on online banking transactions and use. When I was able to find a legitimate source for sites I found that these usually charged money to use their services. I began to wonder why such an alarming number of websites such as this existed. The reason for these websites existence was to make investors aware of the different statistics of banks/ possible investments. They could then use this information to generate revenue by brokering online. Like internet banking this investment process could be handled entirely online. I find it amazing how everything that one needs to generate an income through online investment and banking is at your fingertips provided you're able to pay the often hundreds to thousands of dollars to get accurate information of how the financial institutions are doing.

Who's The Best In The Online Banking Business?

When researching about online banking and what it was all about, i came across a great consumer website which tells the people what they should know before choosing the right online services. The website has a description of their top 4 online banks, 1. Bank of America, 2. Schwab, 3. First National Bank of Omaha, and finally number 4. Smartypig. Along with a description of the banks the website also contains reviews posted by people who have experienced their services. This adds a new value to the website because you can listen to what other people have to say and not just those who created the site.
Along with reviews, you can also compare the prices of each of the services. It's pretty much a one stop shop for finding an online banking service if one of those four suits your needs. If those four for some reason do not meet your needs, they have listed at the bottom the runner-ups for the ranking. They are as follows: ING Direct, HSBN Direct, Moneyaisle, EverBank, E*Trade, and Wachovia.

Here is the link to the site so you can try it out for yourself. HOPE YOU FIND THE RIGHT ONLINE BANK FOR YOU!!!!!!

Online Banking Concerns

With banking made available online and through mobile devices many people have started to veer away from traditional banking methods. With this new easier more convenient method there comes a price and that is the concern over the safety of online transactions. There have been businesses and individuals who have suffered the consequences of unauthorized transfers, some of these transactions resulting from the theft of passwords and pin numbers and account information. Many wonder if online banking is a safer way to go when dealing with their own private funds. In order to instill a trust in the online banking system many banks make information available on the methods used to protect this vital information readily available. Identification and Authentication, Encrytions, and Firewalls are used as safety procautions which many people entrust with their information.
